Amazing home and location!
We loved our week in 6 Brown Pelican. It is a beautiful home perfectly appointed and great for large family gatherings. The location is amazing right on the beach. We had only one small issue and it was resolved quickly. We will be back!

Out of this World Family Vacation
We gathered with a large group (a mom, her children, their grandchildren) and the space held us wonderfully. This is one of the few places on HHI (the only we've found in Sea Pines) that functions for a large group. There are three fridges, ample parking space, generous dining space to seat the entire group at once, and lots of shaded patio furniture under the deck. The pool is not as large as it appears in the photo (it looks olympic!), but it plenty of large with a variety of depths. The best thing about the pool for us was that it was half shaded until noon every day-- that's amazing when traveling in July with young children! The walk to the beach is one long wooden boardwalk, a 10 yard stretch of sand, then another long wooden boardwalk. Not a problem, just something I had to call to clarify about from the pictures. This location is about a five minute walk from Salty Dog (and trolley) and two streets over from the south beach beach club (basically a pavilion). The best things about this house for us was 1) 3 refrigerators 2) multiple gathering spaces 3) lots of designated kids' bedding areas--they loved playing in their own spaces 4) the pool 5) having a small yard beside the pool for catch 6) the fire pit. Beyond that, it's beautifully appointed and fully stocked with cookie sheets and everything you'd need to make a thanksgiving dinner, honestly. We've rented in Sea Pines for years and this one is pricey, but very very nice. The downsides of the house: it's large, so it echoes. Lots of showers, fewer bathtubs if that's an issue. Tvs everywhere (we didn't turn them on except for one movie night), and barn doors on the kids' bunk room (they weren't great at closing them all the way). Really nothing worth mentioning, honestly!

Family Thanksgiving 2017
"I don't know where to begin!" I wanted to plan a perfect Thanksgiving reunion for my husband and my family. We all have not been together in 22years..... It was Awesome, more than our expectations!! We had family come from FL, GA, OK, WV, VA, and CA. This house was perfect!!!! Everyone loved it, we really didn't have to leave the house and It was just a short walk to "The Salty Dog Café". The beautiful staircase served as a wonderful prop for a family portrait that everyone will cherish for ever!!!! The property management was Awesome to work with. A couple of small issues came up and they were right on it...... They also came out to the house to make sure everything was taken care off ( and it was on Thanksgiving Day!!!) Our Vacation was more then I ever could have expected, it was PERFECT!!! Thanks to Bill and Talley ( Coastal Home & Villa) I can't wait to come and visit Hilton Head again!!!!

6 Brown Pelican
Our family of 12 thoroughly enjoyed our stay at 6 Brown Pelican. The home was perfect for our family needs. Of particular note, Katherine, the house manager from Coastal was exceptional. She responded immediately to the one issue minor we had during our stay. She went above and beyond our expectations when our flights were delayed and we had Instacart groceries arriving before we did. She met the shopper at our home and put all the groceries away!

Large,new house with indoor and outdoor gathering spaces
We rented this house in June 2018 for a family reunion with 20 people. The house was perfect. Plenty of room, clean, all the amenities. We heated the hot tub but not the pool - which was warm enough. The location in Sea Pines was great. The management company was very helpful and responsive. What a wonderful vacation!

Truly Spectacular
We rented this house in April 2018 for a wedding (the wedding itself was on the beach right out front and the reception was in the backyard). We had about 70 guests and the event was amazing; there was plenty of room for the caterers, dinner tables, and dance floor. Kids were able to be in the pool during a lot of the reception and the rest of the week. We got the pool heated and man, it is heated to about ninety degrees! We stayed in the house for several days after the wedding and enjoyed relaxing on the upper deck outside and throughout the very spacious and comfortable house. Talley and the rest of the management company, Coastal Home and Villa were responsive and helpful. What a memorable and wonderful experience.

One of our best Sea Pines rental experiences
The house is beautiful and spacious with lovely furnishings; best organized and equipped kitchen I have seen in my (many) years of renting nice homes in Sea Pines—-everything labeled. Well-maintained with quality bed linens and towels. We appreciated the labeled light switches as well. My granddaughters practically lived in the pool which is well screened from the adjacent boardwalk by vegetation The bunk bed room with two sets of bunk beds and a double in a window alcove was perfect for them. Great location within east walking distance of Salty Dog (ice cream).

Peaceful Paradise

Beautiful!

Great family trip to Hilton Head

Wonderful time at a wonderful home!!!
We were a family of 12 who all met at the beach for fall break. We had a great week! The house was perfect. Everyone who wanted their own bed had one. Lots of bathrooms! The kitchen was well stocked. So easy to cook in! Everything was clean and working. The two laundry rooms made laundry easy. We used the beach chairs in the closet instead of the ones we rented as they were much nicer. We did use the rental umbrellas though. The walk to the beach is shorter and easier than any condo we've ever stayed in. We took the bikes to the beach and had a blast. We paid to heat the hot tub and I highly suggest doing so. We really enjoyed it. Especially the little guys! We had planned to go out to eat several nights, but we all enjoyed eating out on the very large deck with super nice tables and chairs, that we ended up grilling out most nights. It was sooo nice to be able to bring our dog as he is part of the family. :). We just had a great time and are already talking about a return visit! You will not be disappointed in this house!!!

Amazing House
This was an amazing house. We had 20 of our 26 family members stay here (the others were in a condo a short drive away). This was our third family vacation. The first in Hawaii, the 2nd in The Isle of Palms. 6 Brown Pelican was the best by far. This house exceeded all expectations!! Our entire group met here for all meals and visiting the beach. The two dining areas both inside and outside accommodated all of us - a very large group. The design/layout of the house was exceptional as we never felt crowded. The boardwalk to the beach was next to the house which made for easy walk to beach and also to take bikes to the beach. The property management company promptly responded to our few issues.

New Years Eve Family Retreat
Brown Pelican was everything we needed for our extended family getaway. The heated pool/hot tub were perfect. We were able to use both the entire week. The outside area with fire pit were a great addition. Our young adults played games on the grass as well as the beach. Access to the beach was easy and we walked several times to the Salty Dog Cafe.

Beautiful house and location!
I had the pleasure of not only staying here recently, but also hosting my wedding here. The backyard makes for the perfect wedding location! We set up our ceremony and reception right on the lawn overlooking the beach, which is only a few steps away. The house was spacious enough to keep most of our wedding party, and had a room perfect for the children. We had a blast all weekend. The property has a heated pool and hot tub, so after a long weekend of fun, we were able to relax in the luxurious amenity. This house is really perfect for anything, a family vacation, an event, whatever. Aside from the overall gorgeousness of the house the property managers take it a step further! They’re so quick to respond to any questions you may have and are so kind. I guarantee staying at any property hosted by Coastal Homes and Villas is going to be great. We are definitely coming back.

Perfect Wedding!
Incredible house, incredible location. We had a 50-guest wedding and a family stay around it over 4 days in October. The house is beautifully appointed, right on the beach. Sea Pines is a resort community. Lots of restaurants, services within a 15 minute drive of the house. Highly recommend!

50th anniversary celebration
17 family members came to help celebrate our anniversary. Plenty of room, pool was great for the little ones. Easy walk to the beach! Easy walk to salty dog cafe and some shops! We rented bikes and beach chairs ahead of time! We used a personal chef to cook dinner one night which was awesome! So happy that we were all able to stay together without having to go to a resort! It was our own private resort! Our first time in Hilton Head! Beautiful area!

Fantastic Beach House
The location was great. Easy access to the beach. We also enjoyed the pool. The house had a great layout and worked well for our group. The kitchen had all we need for meal preparation for a large group. The management team was very responsive. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Vacation
A great house and great location. Very clean with plenty of space and amenities. The house is pet friendly so we brought our small dog which worked out really well. The house is located on the sound side, not directly ocean facing, but the beach is very nice and the house has a gorgeous view over to Daufuskie. A very short walk/bike ride to South Beach Marina. Overall, I would highly recommend the house and would rent it again.

Fabulous Multi-Family Rental
6 Brown Pelican was a perfect getaway for our family - 10 adults and 2 dogs. We did not have any minors in our group, but the house would have easily accommodated them. We expected luxury in our rental, and all were satisfied. Property management was communicative in advance of our stay and responsive during it when we called with a few concerns. Multiple kitchen, laundry and lounge areas gave us fantastic spaces, either to gather or to spread out. The well-equipped kitchen was conducive to dining in multiple nights, and the location was great both for Sea Pines and other HHI restaurants, etc. Perfect location for days mixed with beach, pool, and indoor time, depending on individual interests.

Great house
This house worked great for a large family vacation. With two living areas and ample outdoor space, we didn’t feel crowded. Five bedrooms included king beds with comfortable mattresses and the three kid’s rooms had an ample number of beds. The house was clean and well-maintained. Note, no games or kid’s toys, beach towels, or kitchen staples were provided.

What a view
This house was great. I wish the pictures did a better job of showing how easy it is to access the beach, and the views from the main floor and deck are unbelievable. The home itself was perfect for our family and its proximity to South Beach Marina and the shops/restaurants was ideal. I highly recommend renting bikes. The rental company's service was remarkable, there responsiveness and attention to minor details made all the difference. We had a problem with the gas grill the first night and they replaced the entire unit by lunch the next day. We needed a break from 2020 and this home was perfect. Plenty of room and recently renovated, this is a great spot for multiple families and lots of kids.

perfect for a family reunion
This property is so well equipped and perfectly located. As a resident of Sea Pines we were proud to host our family at such a special place. There were not only enough bedrooms, but plenty of spaces to get away from the group! Two kitchens and two living areas. Katherine from Coastal was so communicative. If we had any questions or concerns they were quickly addressed....even before they were a concern! We hope to rent this great spot again....perfect for a staycation!

Magical Vacation!

Fun family vacation
