Great house in a great location!
House was the perfect size for 3 families (7 adults, 3 children). The pool was perfect for the kiddos and adults. TVs outside were a nice bonus! Quick walk to the beach via the beach access path adjacent to the property. Property Mgmt Company was very responsive. We really enjoyed our stay!

Great Location and Property
Our family had a great experience with this property. Proximity to the beach was important, and did not disappoint. This house has been well maintained, and possesses high-quality furnishings. Plenty of king size beds that were firmly comfortable. Air conditioning was perfect for the main floor as well as the one room that is ground level. The pool is in great shape. However there is no safety restraint that would prohibit a toddler getting out the back door and having immediate access to the pool. The kitchen was modestly supplied with cookware, and if you need more than a half a teaspoon for your measuring bring your own. Having access to a garage was bonus material for storing bikes and beach gear. Overall, for a group of 14 there was ample space to spread out and gather.

Great Place!
Responsive staff and clean house with plenty of room for two families to enjoy a great vacation. Short walk to beach with pathway right next to house. Pool and spa were great!

My Family Has Found The Perfect Location For Us
My family began vacationing at Palmetto Dunes in the early 1970s and at 48 Mooring Buoy since 2006. The current owner has made substantial renovations,over the last few years, making it one of the better values in that area. #48 provides easy access to the beach, bicycle rental, tennis/ pickle ball center and the William Hilton Parkway. High marks go to the owner and the " Coastal Home and Villa" ( rental agency )...... " Highly Recommend "

Family and pet friendly
Just spent a wonderful week at this newly updated home. It had a well stocked kitchen a grill right off the kitchen door. The screened porch was my favorite hangout. We enjoyed the pool and the short walk to the beach. Would certainly rent again.

Excellent beach week
Our beach rental was wonderful. Large bedrooms with plenty of baths, great seating area for our large group, large open kitchen and beautiful pool area. Access to the beach was amazing, with less than a minute walk on a paved path. Great week!

Amazing house for families!!
This house was perfect for our Christmas Break! We would definitely rent again. The ease to the beach was great! The backyard pool was amazing! The outdoor space was so much fun for this time of year. Heating the pool/spa, the outdoor tv’s and fire table were awesome for cool nights and gathering as a group!! The bathrooms and kitchen updates were really nice!! 5 stars to the property management company! We put in an email about pool trouble and literally Mike was at our house in 5 minutes!! Days prior he responded so quickly!! We would highly recommend any property they manage!!

Excellent. Beautiful spacious home with everything we needed.
This home was perfect for our family vacation with 9 adults and 3 children. Pool and spa were in the sun and a short walk to the beach. Everything was very well maintained. Definitely want to book again.

Lovely House in Palmetto Dunes!
We had the best week at 48 Mooring Buoy! The house was spacious and we were able to spread out. The property was a very easy walk to the beach. There was also an unexpected pool cleaning midweek which made the pool that much more enjoyable. One note on the kitchen items...there was no baking sheet to be found anywhere so if you need that during your stay, bring it with you. Also there were no coffee filters on hand and it would be a really nice touch to add them. If you want to use the drip coffee maker, bring filters for a basket coffee maker. Thanks for the lovely stay!

We have been coming to Hilton Head Island for 20 years. We have rented from several management companies. Coast home and villas exceeded our expectations. They were prompt in fixing any issues we had, even on a Sunday. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. This property was perfect for 4 families with kids.

Just Perfect ~ 48 Mooring Buoy!
This house was perfect for our family’s annual trip to Hilton Head. Had to be the cleanest place we’ve stayed in! Easy beach access, beautiful decor, comfy beds, great pool, well-equipped kitchen with everything we needed, and to top it off, the folks at Coastal Home and Villa went out of their way to make sure our stay was perfect. Impeccable Property with Ideal Location
48 Mooring Buoy was the perfect property for our family trip to Hilton Head. We were a group of 12 people (five families) and this house couldn't have been more ideal. The property description is very accurate, and the location CANNOT be beat! The house is situated right next to a beach access path and is a very short walk from the beach- doable for even the two-year-old in our group. It was windy for a portion of our trip, which eliminated the beach as an option. We were so thankful to have a private pool and the trees surrounding the house provided protection from the wind. The house was clean and well-maintained. It is an older home, but recent renovations provide a modern look and feel. Coastal Home & Villa provided excellent customer service; they ensured we had everything we needed every step of the way. I highly recommend this property and would definitely rent from Coastal Home & Villa again in the future.

Perfect Location
This property was beautiful and its’ lovely rooms gave my family both privacy and fabulous together space. Minutes walk to the beach and lovely backyard is perfect for relation. It’s also an easy walk/bike ride to town restaurants, pickleball etc. Some questions came up regarding the home and management was quick to answer and respond. Despite the hurricane, it was a fabulous stay!

Beautiful House & Location
This house was just perfect for our stay on Hilton Head Island! It was so easy to access the gorgeous beach and the neighborhood offered lots of sidewalks for walking as well. The house was spotless, well-decorated, the beds were very comfortable, there were plenty of updated and beautiful bathrooms, and the kitchen had everything needed to cook and bake. We would definitely stay here again!

Spring Break Family Reunion

Ideal location for Family Reunion

Excellent location - beautiful accommodation.
The location of this property is perfect - 3rd-row ocean, short walk to the beach, not too far from Dunes House, but far enough away from the crowds, short walk to tennis and the General Store. Inside the house is a beautiful renovation. The management company is the best I've dealt with.

Little piece of paradise
This house accommodated our group of 13 easily. 6 adults, 5 kids and 2 teenagers! We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The back yard is an oasis and only a very short walk (even with small kids) to the beach. The open concept was great for gathering but also offered beautiful rooms with ensuites for your own personal space when needed. The house was clean and welcoming when we arrived with lots of room in the kitchen with plenty of seating. The location of this rental is also ideal. Not too far from the beach, central on the island making it a 20min drive to either end for site seeing. A close walk to the general store or short drive to groceries. I would definitely rent this property again! Highly recommend! It was also a pleasure working with the lovely people at Coastal Home and Villas! We received an email stating our house was ready 3 hours early for check in which was an added bonus!

Family Reunion
We had family travel from all over the country to share this house. Everyone had a great experience. The house was beautiful, the proximity to the beach was perfect and the pool was refreshing. It was convenient to have groceries delivered, or walk/bike to the general store for something quick. Highly recommend!
