Hilton Head’s Annual Chili Cookoff

There is something about the crisp morning air in the fall months that makes you want to head to the beach. But that smelling that crisp salty air isn’t the only thing that you will smell. You may get a good whiff of the 34^th Annual Hilton Head Chili Cookoff that will be happening on October 6^th. This event is put on by the Kiwanis Clubs of Hilton Head Island. All the proceeds will go to many local charities and help the youth too. You will need to purchase your tickets to attend but it’s well worth the money. There will be plenty of things for the family to do like chili tasting, face-painting and games. This is one delicious event that you won’t want to miss!

Annual Pumpkin Patch Festival

What’s fall without taking the family to the pumpkin patch? Hilton Head Island is hosting their Annual Pumpkin Patch Festival to help celebrate Halloween. There will be plenty of things for the family to do including carnival games, inflatables, a fun petting zoo and more. Plus, let your kids dress in their Halloween costumes as there will be a costume contest too. This event will happen on Saturday, October 18^th from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm over at the Shelter Cove Community Park. Come and help celebrate the fall and Halloween all in one fun event!

10^th Annual Italian Heritage Festival

On Saturday, October 26^th the 10^th Annual Italian Heritage Festival will be taking place. It will take place at the Coastal Discovery Museum at Honey Horn from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. Grab a slice of pizza or a bowl of pasta to help celebrate this fun festival. Plus, your family can join in on the grape-stomping contest or how about a fun pizza eating contest. Admission to this event is $6 per person but we promise that you’re going to love this festival and want to return next year for it.
