Next month on March 11th to 17th, 2019 the Annual Hilton Head Food & Wine Festival is happening. This will be a week-long event full of tasty food and wine tastings along with education and gourmet foods. This is something that you can’t miss this year.
About the Food & Wine Festival
The 34th Annual Hilton Head Food & Wine Festival will allow all food and wine enthusiasts to enjoy some amazing food while on vacation. Beginning on Monday, March 11, 2019 you will be able to enjoy some gourmet food and wine tastings that you may never get to try. The gates open up at 11 am every day and you will be able to get your first glass of wine from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm with the exception of the special events that will be listed below. You can pick and choose from the variety of events that are happening in different locations throughout the week.
Events & Pricing
Sip & Stroll | The Sip & Stroll will happen on March 14th from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. It is located at 149 Lighthouse Road, Hilton Head Island and costs $49 per person. This event will allow you to taste a variety of wines as you get to stroll through the shops that line the Harbour Town Yacht Basin. It also happens to be a great place where you can do a little shopping while you get to enjoy the great tasting wines.
Grand Tasting | The Grand Tasting will happen on March 15th from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. It will be at 11 Lighthouse Lane on Hilton Head Island and costs $125 per person. The Grand Tasting is just what it’s called “Grand” and it’s where you can immerse yourself into the most exclusive event of the week with award winning wines and hors d’oeuvres. Don’t miss this event if you want to indulge a little on some great times with friends and a loved one.
VIP Public Tasting | This VIP Public Tasting will begin on March 16th at 11:00 am to 4:00 pm at 149 Lighthouse Drive in Hilton Head Island. The cost of this event is $110 per person and is a well-known VIP experience on top of the Harbour Town Yacht Club. Here you will be able to taste some medal winning wines and get your hands on some light hors d’oeuvres.
General Admission Public Tasting | The General Admission Public Tasting is on March 16th from 12:00 to 3:00 pm at 149 Lighthouse Drive in Hilton Head Island. The cost of this event is $65 per person and is the festival’s largest event that you can attend. Here you will be able to taste over 250 wines from all over the world which can be perfect if you are someone who loves to discover new wines while on vacation. You will also be able to see many Chefs compete in the Sysco Outdoor Gourmet Challenge as you get to enjoy some live entertainment and even see the waiter’s race. What a great event that you can attend the entire week.
