Great house and location!
Our large family has been taking vacations in HHI for 15 years and this is the best house we’ve rented. Great location and privacy! Hope it stays as a rental so we can book for next year.

3 Cat Boat was awesome in every regard... location, cleanliness and outdoor space. There was one maintenance issue that was quickly resolved with frequent communication from the rental company. We have rented many homes in HHI over the years and this one is one of the favorites.

Family Reunion Sucess
The property and location were great. The management company was very helpful throughout the planning stages and while we were on site. They even got a new internet router same day after we had a storm and it knocked out the internet router to the home. Kitchen was well equipped with all the essentials for cooking and dinning in. Truly felt like you were at home.

Excellent location and great stay
The 7 bedroom, 7 bath home was idea for our family of 20. We had several minor maintenance issues but all were dealt with immediately and to our satisfaction. The staff are excellent. We loved the walk/path to the beach. The beach was wonderful. Renting electric bikes was great for Pap Paw.! Kitchen was well equipped.

There are not enough words to express our stay at 3 Cat Boat. Whoever the owner is you should be grateful for the leasing company you use they take wonderful care of the property and were more than helpful in making sure our stay was beyond pleasant. Loved every appointment this home had to offer. Can't wait to visit again! Thank you again to the Coastal Home and Villa for an amazing week away!

Third Time at this Outstanding House
Our whole family (18) gathered at Hilton Head for an outstanding week. This house had everything we needed. A great location close to the beach. A pool which the kids and adults enjoyed. The kitchen was well outfitted and we all took turns cooking. The check in was easy and the property managers were accessible and helpful. I would highly recommend 3 Cat Boat for anyone with a big family gathering.

We loved this house!
We had such a great stay at 3 cat boat! The house was perfect for our family of 12 adults. It never felt crowded and the outdoor space was just as wonderful as the indoor space. It was a short walk to the beach and we loved that we had bikes delivered to the home before we arrived through Vayklife. We would highly recommend this home!

Wonderful location
Just like other reviews the area surrounding the home is just lovely. The beach access is right around the corner. The house itself is very spacious and with the open concept on first floor makes for a good time with lots of people. The elevator was quite useful and kind of fun and the fact there was a washer and dryer on both levels was fantastic. We had one person bring their work computer and set up in the office area next to laundry on second level and she said it worked out great. It was a tad too cold to do much outside but that was just the price of betting on mid-March. We had a few technical difficulties with the house but they were either resolved quickly (Rick was great) or we were given a substitute to get us by. I will say those dining room chairs were very loud (it’s odd to even mention but if you know, then just pick them up and move them or you will wake up the whole house). This was our first time staying for a family trip in Hilton Head and where we won’t be going back in March again we would go back and hopefully the management company Coastal will be managing the property. They ALL do a wonderful job trying hard to take care of you. FYI read ALL of the very well thought out emails you get from them before you arrive or you will regret it. They do a fantastic job trying to prepare you for the visit, unfortunately I didn’t read the last email and was without coffee filters. Thank goodness for UTube and paper towels.

Outstanding house and location. We had 6 couples and bedrooms worked out great. Upstairs back bathroom sink was slow drain. The kitchen was wonderful and the grill was the best

Palmetto Dunes Gem
Beautiful house with a well designed floor plan that accommodates many people but also provides a sense of privacy to guests. Screened in porches and private pool area are key assets of this property. Easy access to the beach and all of the activities available in Palmetto Dunes. Also, Coastal Homes and Villas is super responsive to guest inquiries and requests.

What could have been better? We loved it!
We have stayed on HHI 7 times in the past 14 years and this was the best ever! Loved 3 Cat Boat. 12 adults stayed for the week with virtually zero complaints...and the minor issues we had (broken coffee maker, loose drawer handle) were addressed within hours of contacting Coastal Home. Location is wonderful. House faces ocean on 2nd row (very, very limited view of the ocean), so front screen room is beautiful in the morning for sitting and visiting. Pool area faces west, so lots of mid-day and afternoon sun. Nice privacy. The house is HUGE...we literally discovered rooms we had missed after being there a couple days. Never even used the big game room in the basement because there are so many other gathering spaces. Very well maintained, high end home. Hot tub warms up fairly quickly and gets as warm as you would like it. Pool was heated to 87 degrees. Short walk to the beach. Bottom line--we loved staying at 3 Cat Boat and recommend it without reservation.

Beautiful home!
The house was absolutely stunning. There were 20 of us and there was more than enough space. We never felt like we were on top of each other. The bedrooms were all a perfect size. There really wasn’t a “bad” room. We had a fantastic time. I also want to point out that the rental company for this property is fantastic. We had one or two minor issues and they were super fast in responding. Would definitely love to stay here again.

Lovely home steps to the beach ; great for large groups
This large home is great for families sharing accommodations. We had a few families with children stay together and we never felt crowded. The large kitchen & large family room were spacious and open. Our favourite spots were the front screened in porch for breakfast and dinner and nights in the covered screened porch were wonderful. The pool had sun most of the day and was a good size and the kids loved having the small backyard for volleyball, badminton and bocce. The path to the beach from the backyard is quick access and convenient to come back and forth from the beach. Bedrooms are all tucked away. Everyone has their own space and wing. Great vacation home. Would happily return!

FANTASTIC HOUSE! OUTSTANDING COMMUNICATORS!!
We’ve rented homes in Hilton Head several times, first time with Coastal Home. Cannot say enough about the experience with Coastal Home. There were some issues with the burners on the stove in the kitchen which we were notified about before we arrived. Logistics issues were delaying getting replacement valves so the burners were not functional. We were over-whelmed with the options Coastal Home provided to offset the loss of the burners – an additional grill, cast iron skillets, an electric griddle, 2 burner induction panel (with correct pots and a pan), 2 two-burner stovetops, and an air fryer! We found a couple maintenance issues which we notified them about and which were rectified within a couple hours of notifying them (lights out, broken Keurig, issue with a door lock). The team at Coastal Home was fantastic – we would rent from them again without hesitation. 3 Cat Boat is an amazing house. Close to the beach and a wonderful pool. Mornings at the beach, afternoons in the pool for most of us. We had 3 little ones (7, 5, 2) with us and I don’t think they could have had a better time. This is a great house – we would rent it again if it’s available next time. Both screen porches were used frequently – once to watch an incredible storm blow thru (yes it does rain in Hilton Head!) The house had everything we could have asked for. This is a great house - we had 17 people plus some visitors and there was more than enough room for everyone. Even had a baby shower!! Fantastic vacation!! What you see in the pictures is what you get. Close to the beach, close to Shelter Cove, close to shopping. We could not be happier with the house or the responsiveness of Coastal Home!!

Beautiful vacation home!
My family has been spending our summer vacation in Hilton Head for the last 18 years. We have always stayed in a different house every year, 3 Cat Boat is a top 5 home. The 7 bedrooms were the best yet for us. The large open space on the first floor made for a great family enjoyment. The parking area for a large group is a little challenging. The large garage helps with that. The pool and entertainment areas were great. It was only a few minutes from the beach.

3 Cat Boat August 2021 Review
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Palmetto Dunes at 3 Cat Boat. The house was the perfect size and location for our family. The large open kitchen was very well appointed with a beautiful Wolf stove and higher end kitchen ware. We love to cook so that is important to our family. Ate most meals out on the beautiful screened front porch or by the pool. We also used the lower screened area for a TV night and lunches. The pool was a great size and the spa was lovely and spacious as well. Loved the entire floor plan along with the outside kitchen and fabulous grill! Would definitely rent this beautiful home again.

Massive Home in Palmetto Dunes
Overall great house with a tremendous amount of space and sleeping quarters. Excellent location in Palmetto Dunes, steps to the beach and a short walk from Cocos on the Beach and the Dune House for easy take-out / bar options. Very good set-up for families with children. We had a great experience and the management company was super attentive to small issues that arose during our stay.
